I don’t know of any woman who have had not once a yeast infection problem in their life. While occasional thrush and yeast infection is not something very bothering as it is easy to treat, the amount of women and men complaining of developing chronic yeast infections are astonishing.

More and more people are looking for yeast infection treatments that work to eliminate Candida Albicans forever.

The causes of yeast infection are not all known, yet it is proven that long treatments with antibiotics are a major factor for this chronic condition. When we speak about chronic, we refer of getting yeast candida symptoms every two-three months. Candida Albicans can be caused by a multitude of factors, but a weak immune system is to blame most of the time. Also, due to changes in modern diet, many people get yeast fungus because of a poor diet rich in bad fats from junk food and overconsumption of sugar, levels with which our ancestors were not accustomed too.

For women of a certain age the menopausal effect take its toll on their bodies and besides having to cope with hot flushes, vaginal dryness that causes repetitive vaginal thrush is a common cause for women. You can use non-hormonal creams for vaginal dryness to prevent dryness down there and the vaginal infections.

Since the release of over the counter medicines for yeast infections in the 1990 by FDA, there is an increase into the numbers of yeast infection treatments available to purchase without doctor‘s recommendation. This is good and bad news as a whole. The good news is that you don’t have to pay a visit to your doctor every time you got a vaginal thrush, which for many individuals can be cumbersome, plus the cost. However, many people they wrongly self-diagnosed or they apply the same creams and pessaries all the time, not knowingly that this can harm them in the long term as the condition gets chronic.Getting over-the-counter treatments for yeast infection is a quick solution which it should not be abused.
